Why I’m Here

I’m here because it became quickly apparent that posting and writing about my  belief that there exists alternatives to the trans-dominant ideology (i.e. other ideologies, which also may be supportive to and of women trans people alike) on my personal Facebook and Twitter page was going to be harmful to me personally. I started this blog so that I could post without fear about something the things I strongly about, namely the co-opting of women’s language, the hijacking of the LGBT movement, and the rapid erasure of women-only safe spaces. It seems as if this all these things happened virtually overnight, with little real discussion, and very little thought to the impact it would have on other vulnerable populations (i.e. women and children). The very vocal forces at the front of what I now see as a mainstream trans-dogma tells us “if you have anything else to say on this topic other than what we think you should be saying, then you are trans-phobic, republican, conservative, TERF, etc.” I’m not Republican, I’m not conservative, and I’m not trans-exclusionary. I -and others-  have some things to say that do not align with the current dominant ideology of gender and transactivism. Welcome to my blog
